Building responsibly, for the long term
As an institutionally backed logistics platform, Majra holds itself accountable not only for commercial performance, but for the environmental, social, and governance standards expected of long-term infrastructure partners. Our goal is to build a greener logistics network across the GCC, one that reduces the environmental footprint of trade movement while raising the operational and governance standards of the region's logistics sector.
Environmental
We are building our network with efficiency and reduced environmental impact in mind, through route and load optimization to reduce unnecessary freight movement and lower emissions per shipment, reverse logistics capability to support returns processing, refurbishment, and responsible disposal, recyclable and reduced packaging practices in our value-added services, and energy-efficient facility design and lower-impact transport options evaluated as part of our long-term investment and network planning.
Social
Majra is committed to developing local talent and supporting Omanization goals as we build our workforce, alongside safe working conditions and fair labor practices across every site we operate. We view our people, and the communities we operate in, as core to our long-term success.
Governance
Majra is structured with institutional-grade governance from inception, including a defined shareholder and voting structure, reserved matters requiring board approval, and clear lines of accountability between management and our investment partners. We are committed to transparency with our stakeholders and to maintaining governance standards that meet the expectations of institutional capital.
